About Epilogue
A wife-and-husband duo building the thoughtful, playful and clean book platform we always wished existed.

Why we're doing this
We're both big book lovers. We've tried many ways of tracking our books: other book discovery platforms, a notes app, handwritten book journals, spreadsheets and Notion databases. Nothing quite worked the way we wanted it to. So we wanted to change that.
Building a clone of another book platform (like Goodreads) isn't our intention. We're rethinking the entire experience from first principles. We want to create something better.
We want to make a book platform that you love. Whether you're someone who wants to join book clubs and communities, see what your friends are reading, or if you just want to track your own reading without the noise of extra social features, Epilogue is for you.
A lot of existing book platforms are focused on readers. Readers are very important to us, but so is everyone else in the community: authors, publishers, book clubs and more. We want to create a platform for everyone.
- Amrita & Karan
Trustworthy
We want to eliminate fake reviews, bots, fake accounts and biased opinions (e.g. critiquing the author rather than the book itself).
Community
A welcoming community where all book lovers can connect with each other.
Joy to use
A platform that you love. Our dream is to create the best user experience of any software product.
Two readers, always thinking about what to read next

Amrita Kumar
Co-Founder & Product Designer
I mostly read non-fiction: memoirs, biographies and spirituality books.
I also enjoy drinking tea, pilates, yoga, murder mysteries, cooking, travelling and spending time with my family.
Favourite all-time book:
Becoming by Michell Obama

Karan Kumar
Co-Founder & Software Engineer
I enjoy reading across many different genres, but especially popular science, history, memoirs and biographies. That being said, I'm always open to recommendations in other genres!
Besides reading and programming (my main two hobbies), I enjoy disconnecting from technology by spending time in nature. P.S. I don't usually eat that much.
Favourite all-time book:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
